Nick Merico American Idol

The "American Idol" venture for Top 20 finalist Nick Merico has been one about modesty, following a rough tryout process where the 22-year old server from Woodland Hills, California got some strong but fair affection from the adjudicators. "I'm an entertainer," says Merico. "My specialty would be the Nickelodeon show I was on called 'All over.' I love acting, yet I'm not going to mislead anybody, music is the place my heart is." Merico was one of 20 Season 18 finalists included on the "American Idol" exceptional, "This is Me" airing on April 12 and April 19 on ABC.

Other than being about music, "American Idol" is about individuals, their accounts and their fantasies. Host Ryan Seacrest portrays this profound jump into the contenders where we hear increasingly close to home stories, see features from their tryout procedure and realize what it took for them to persuade judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan to choose them as finalists.

As per Nick Merico, he left because of a family crisis that he was unable to broadly expound on. In a Skype meet with Colt Balok, the previous Nickelodeon star clarified, "Sadly, something occurred with my family that I can't generally reveal that constrained me to pull out of the opposition.
