Great Morning America announced the expert artists who might contend in the up and coming season. The two experts from the previous season that did not return were Kym Johnson-Herjavec and Sasha Farber. Farber came back to the troupe, and Mark Ballas, who last showed up on season 22, will likewise return. Alan Bersten, a troupe part since season 20, was elevated to genius.
On September 4, it was uncovered that Cheryl Burke was the thirteenth master added to the lineup. Drew Scott was declared as the main superstar going after the season banded together with Emma Slater. On September 6, whatever is left of the cast was uncovered on Good Morning America.
